Transfers to and from Brest Airport

Brest Bretagne Airport is located some 10 km northeast of the city of Brest and lies within the département of Finistère. Getting to the city of Brest and surrounding towns and cities from the airport is easy, as there are several transport options on offer.

Shuttle from Brest Airport to the City

An airport shuttle bus runs all day, starting early in the morning and running between the airport and city center. When tram line A is in operation, the shuttle bus stops at the Porte de Guipavas tram station en route. The shuttle takes just ten minutes. A ticket costs 1.60 euros per person one way and is valid for one hour from the time of purchase. Tickets can be purchased from the driver or in advance online at www.bibus.fr.

It starts from Porte de Guipavas tram station at 05.05 in the morning, arriving at the airport at 05.15 hours. The last shuttle runs at 20.05 hours (Mondays to Fridays), 17.40 hours on Saturdays and 19.25 hours on Sundays.

Buses from Brest Airport to other Destinations in Finistère

Passengers who are headed for locations like Quimper should take the Penn-ar-Bed network buses. A ticket costs 6.00 euros per person. The Penn-ar-Bed network buses stop at Brest, Le Faou, Pleyben and Quimper. Passengers need to change at Pouillot to get to Pleyben and beyond.

From central Brest it is also possible to catch long-distance bus connections via Eurolines, Flixbus and Ouibus.

Taxis and Transfers from Brest Airport

Just in front of the main entrance of the terminal is the taxi rank. The journey into Brest city center takes between 10 and 20 minutes, depending on the time of day, and costs around 30.00 euros. The minimum price per fare is 7.00 euros. During the day the typical rate is 1.72 euros, and at night taxis charge around 2.58 euros. The latter is also applicable on Sundays and Public Holidays.

A transfer to Morlaix, which is ca 40 minutes' distance from Brest Airport, costs between 160.00 and 190.00 euros. A pre-arranged transfer to Brest city center locations costs around 46.00 euros per person, and travelling to Plouzané costs around 79.00 euros per person.

Car Rental from Brest Airport

Car hire is available from the car rental area opposite Arrivals. There are several car rental companies including Alamo and Avis, Enterprise and Europcar, Hertz, RentScape, Thrifty and Sixt have their rental stations.

The ferry port at Roscoff is only an hour's drive away, Saint-Malo around 2 hours and 35 minutes, Rennes and Nantes ca one hour each. Rennes can be reached via the toll-tree RN12, and Nantes via the N165.
